This coming Saturday is the annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive. Every year in the U.S., the National Association of Letter Carriers sponsors this charitable event to increase the food supply for local churches and food banks. Letter carriers deliver a postcard notification of this event several days ahead. Then on Saturday, we’ll pick up whatever canned goods and non-perishable food items you leave in a bag by your mailbox.
