Write More Letters

April 8, 2022 By Carol

Dear Reader- Once again, I am grateful to Donovan Beeson for her  infinite postal enthusiasm.  She reminds us that April is National Letter Writing Month, and she has created labels galore to help us celebrate. I thought you might be inspired by the infectious energy of her creations. Here’s what she has to say about writing letters this month-

National Letter Writing Month Labels

It’s April! I am always thrilled to see people really ramping up their letter writing this month. Cheers to having something to rally behind. I’m taking advantage of the season and letting myself wallow about in red and blue and vintage air mail and label designs.

This label is based on the outside design of a booklet of labels that I didn’t buy because I have a lot of this style of label already, but I didn’t have that particular book, with that particular cover; so I made one for myself. I thought, “That seems like enough space for an address.” Write smallish! It is a decent amount of space.

I’ve made and am making a ton of stuff this month. If you’re into this thing too, then this is definitely a month to be a Stamp Savior, in my opinion. I do my best to enclose extra goodies for my Postage Caretakers too, but the Stamp Saviors are gonna be getting a fat pack for April. I’m even going to be sharing some vintage goodies, because I tend to hoard them rather than use them. If I share them, I am freed of that curse.

I’m not kidding about having made a bunch of stuff. I don’t know how many pieces it’ll end up being, but April is also my two year Patreon anniversary; so there’s got to be something fun for that too, right? I’ll do my best to not overwhelm you, but I want you do have access to these as downloads and for mailing your National Letter Writing Month letters with a little SELVAGE style.

With that in mind, my goal is going to be to send out rewards mid-month! I am waiting on a last extra to arrive; and then to the mailbox they go!

Happy writing,
Donovan
