Always store point up. Pad writing surface to allow for easier writing movement across the sheet. If ink stops flowing as it sometimes does in cold weather, hold the tip near a flame , wipe it and wait 2 seconds to get the ink flowing. If the ink blobs, as it often does in hot weather, put the pen in the freezer for about a minute, then scribble on scrap paper to get the proper consistency.
