Whether it’s been a while or not since you’ve written…now’s the time to think about sending Mom a card or a note. Mother’s Day is May 13th.
Sure, flowers and dinner are lovely, but a card with a few personal lines written by you will be a keepsake!
Look for a card that means something to your Mom, then personalize it. Write a few lines of your own on the card. Be heartfelt. Recall a good memory, a fun time spent together, or a special moment in your Mom’s life. If you feel awkward and don’t know what to say, simply write: “Thinking of you,” or “Thanks for being my Mom.” Find some way to say how she is special to you, and that you are grateful to have her in your life.
“All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother.” -Abraham Lincoln
